About us..

At FCFA, we believe education is about more than academics—it is about nurturing the whole child and helping families raise children who are confident in their faith, understand their purpose, and are equipped to serve others. in late 2022, after leaving the corporate world, I felt called to create something that I couldn't find anywhere else: a homeschool community for families who wanted the benefits of homeschooling but couldn't simply quit their jobs to homeschool full-time and couldn't afford the cost of traditional private education. I saw a need for something in between—an option that would give families meaningful educational support, structure, community, and flexibility while allowing parents to remain the primary educators of their children. That vision became Freedom Christian Families Academy. Today, FCFA is a Christ-centered homeschool support community serving students from Preschool through 12th grade. We partner with parents who desire an educational experience rooted in Biblical truth while providing the structure, encouragement, resources, and community that can make the homeschool journey more sustainable and fulfilling. We believe parents are the primary educators and that every child is uniquely created by God with individual gifts, strengths, and a purpose. Our role is to come alongside families—not replace them. Through engaging instruction, project-based learning, hands-on experiences, interdisciplinary studies, enrichment opportunities, and meaningful community partnerships, we help bring learning to life while supporting the education taking place at home. At FCFA, students have opportunities to learn, create, explore, serve, and grow together. We cultivate critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, independence, and a genuine love of learning while encouraging students to view every subject and experience through a Biblical worldview.Most importantly, we want FCFA to be more than a place w here your child goes to learn. We want it to feel like home — a community where families are known, students are encouraged, friendships grow, and faith is woven into every part of the educational journey. What began as one family's answer to a need has grown into a community of families walking this journey together. We are honored to come alongside parents as they educate their children, discover their God-given gifts, and pursue the calling God has placed on their lives.

Our Mission

Enrichment Classes

Our drop-off Afternoon Enrichment Program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30–3:00 PM, providing students with engaging, hands-on experiences that complement their homeschool education. Through Bible, Art, Music, STEM, Physical Education, Culinary Arts, Apothecary, Botany, and more, students learn through projects, experiments, games, and creative activities in a fun, Christ-centered environment.

Each month, students explore an exciting themed unit study designed to spark curiosity and make learning come alive. Our goal is for Enrichment to be one of the highlights of each student's week—a place where they build friendships, discover new interests, and leave excited about what they've learned.

Homeschool Support

Freedom Christian Families Academy exists as a homeschool support program designed to partner with families in the education of their children. We believe, in accordance with Scripture (Deuteronomy 6:6–7; Ephesians 6:4), that parents are the primary educators and bear the primary responsibility for their child's academic, spiritual, behavioral, and character development. FCFA is not intended to replace the parent's role but to come alongside families by providing Christ-centered instruction, encouragement, accountability, and enriching educational opportunities. Our goal is to support the work already taking place at home by cultivating critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and a lifelong love of learning. Through hands-on experiences, project-based learning, interdisciplinary unit studies, and meaningful classroom engagement, we create an environment where students are challenged, inspired, and encouraged to take ownership of their learning while building lasting friendships in a Christ-centered community.

Acts of Service

At FCFA, we believe in the power of service and community engagement. Each month, our students participate in meaningful service projects designed to foster compassion, responsibility, and a servant's heart. These hands-on experiences allow us to make a real difference in the lives of others, while developing a deeper understanding of the needs of our communities. Some of our previous Acts of Service include: volunteering at an animal shelter, making "bags of hope" for our homeless community, participating in community clean-up days around the neighborhood, volunteering at Feed My Starving Childrne and visiting nursing homes to serve the elderly. Through these outreach opportunities, our students build relationships, learn the value of teamwork, and have a chance to grow into compassionate and engaged citizens.
