I wanted a program that was hands on, had good Christian values, and that was academically rigorous without losing sight of childhood. "I can't say enough wonderful things about FCFA! From the moment we joined, we felt welcomed into such an incredible community. One of the things I appreciate most is how organized everything is. The entire school year is thoughtfully planned with engaging classes, fun festivities, exciting field trips, and so many meaningful experiences for the kids. What really sets this co-school apart is the emphasis on serving others. I love that the children aren't just learning academics—they're learning compassion and generosity. They've made thank-you cards for our local firefighters, helped clean and organize animal enclosures at pet shelters, and participated in other acts of service that teach them the importance of giving back to their community. The hands-on learning keeps the kids excited and engaged, and the friendships we've made have been such a blessing. My child genuinely looks forward to every school day, and as a homeschool parent, I couldn't ask for a more supportive, encouraging, and enriching environment. "I’m so thankful to have found Jess, Director of Freedom Christian Families Academy, and the co-school program as such a wonderful partner in my child’s education and social life. I’ve had the opportunity to stay on campus and see firsthand how much fun the kids have throughout the day, while also seeing just how much they’ve grown academically over the course of the year. "Freedom Christian Family has not only been an absolute blessing to our family, but a foundational staple in our homeschool journey. While there are many co-ops and support programs out there for the homeschool community, there is nothing quite like FCFA. The incorporation of worship has been a pivotal difference between other programs. The kids all getting together to read stores of the Bible and then sing and dance to their favorite worship songs has been something my kids carry to this day, after 2 years of attendance. When asked what they are most excited for when school starts, they say chapel! In addition to chapel, the monthly acts of service is deeply rooted in building compassion for my kids. To this day, when they see homeless people on the side of the road, they ask if they can make new goodie bags and come back to give it to them. These experiences of course are all aside from the incredible well thought out unit studies. Building pulley systems when learning about the laws of motions, creating the layers of the ocean while learning marine biology, making 3D paper lizards or using Crisco, water and Ziplock bags recreating whale blubber when learning about the animal kingdom."
